Ayuko White has made her living as a technical Japanese-to-English translator since 1988. She was raised from birth to translate between cultures by her linguist mother. Ayuko began her work in recovery from trauma in 1986 and has led small groups in churches she has attended and in the community. Even the Bible Studies she led at Trinity Episcopal Church had a strong focus on healing and liberation. She is currently working toward certification as a peer recovery specialist.
